1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Meek Africa platform, website (meekfund.ink), staff dashboard, or client portal, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

These terms apply to all users including borrowers, staff members, and visitors to the website.

2. Description of Services

Meek Africa provides a cloud-based loan management platform that includes:

- A staff dashboard for loan officers and administrators to manage loans, borrowers, and collections
- A client portal for borrowers to view loan information, make payments, and access documents
- Public-facing information pages about Meek Africa and its loan products

The information on our website is for general purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. Actual loan terms, interest rates, and eligibility are subject to individual assessment and formal loan agreements.

3. Account Registration and Security

Staff accounts: Access is granted by a system administrator. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

Borrower accounts: Your account is created by a Meek Africa loan officer using your registered phone number and a PIN. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential. Do not share your PIN with anyone, including Meek Africa staff.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably suspect are being used fraudulently.

4. Loan Products and Financial Terms

Information about loan products on this website (interest rates, loan amounts, repayment terms) is indicative only. Actual terms are governed by the individual loan agreement signed between the borrower and Meek Africa at the time of disbursement.

Meek Africa does not guarantee loan approval. All applications are subject to credit assessment, KYC verification, and approval at our sole discretion.

Borrowers are responsible for repaying loans according to their agreed repayment schedule. Failure to repay may result in penalty fees, negative credit bureau reporting, and legal action.

5. Payments

Repayments may be made via M-Pesa, Airtel Money, or bank transfer using the account details provided by your loan officer. You are responsible for ensuring payment is made to the correct account using the correct reference.

Meek Africa is not liable for payments made to incorrect accounts or references where you have not used the official payment details provided to you.

Payment receipts and confirmations are sent to your registered phone number and email address. Keep your contact details updated.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its data
- Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Provide false or misleading information in loan applications or on your account
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform
- Impersonate any person or entity

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Meek Africa website and platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, and data — is the property of Meek Africa or its licensors and is protected by Kenyan and international copyright law.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, Meek Africa shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data, loss of income, or service interruptions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid to Meek Africa in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Availability and Maintenance

We strive to maintain platform availability at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance (which we will endeavour to announce in advance) or take the platform offline in the event of an emergency.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kenya.

If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@meekfund.ink. We will make every effort to resolve disputes informally before any formal proceedings.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting an updated version on this page and, where appropriate, via email or SMS. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
